From Hawaii to Europe: Our Start as Couple Content Creators
So, we met at the library.
Well…“The Library” being a bar near our college campus. It was packed shoulder-to-shoulder, the kind of night where you can barely hear yourself think. Gabriel was dancing with his friends, and accidentally fell into Madison (We blame Gabriel’s friend). Sparks flew, music played, and we danced the rest of the night like we’d known each other forever. We’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since.
After college, things got real. Madison had her heart set on moving to Hawaii. No job lined up, no apartment, just a gut feeling and a whole lot of youtube research. There were so many unknowns. Would Gabriel come too? Could we do long-distance? Was this totally crazy? (Yes.) But in the end, we decided to take the leap together. We packed up our little lives, booked one-way tickets, and just… went. Scary? 100%. Worth it? Even more so.

We ended up calling Hawaii home for almost three years. It became such a special chapter in our lives. Early morning walks on Kailua Beach, late-night stargazing on North Shore, and learning who we are individually and as partners.

Somewhere in the middle of that chapter, we took a trip to Ecuador. One morning, on a sunrise hike to Quilotoa (a jaw-dropping, tucked-away volcanic crater lake), Gabriel got down on one knee. It was just the two of us, the mist, the mountains… and a very shaky "yes!" from Madison.
Back in Hawaii, during our engagement shoot with our sweet photographer Annalise, she casually mentioned something called “couple modeling.” We’d never even heard of it. But something about it clicked, and we decided to give it a try.
What we didn’t realize is that one conversation would completely change our lives.
Within a few months, we were fully booked with shoots, meeting insanely talented photographers, and collaborating on dream projects. We built a little creative family in Hawaii, and we’re so grateful for every single one of them.
But deep down, we’d always dreamt of seeing more of the world together. So, at the start of 2025, we took another risk. We packed up again, sold literally everything we owned except for 2 checked bags, and set off to take our work abroad.
Since then, we’ve been modeling and creating UGC (user-generated content) for brands while traveling through Europe, Africa, and Asia. It’s taken us to places we hadn’t even heard of before. Like the quiet towns of Puglia, cliffs in the Faroe Islands, and streets that feel like we’re in a movie; Chefchaouen in Morocco. Each place has left its own little imprint on us, and we carry those memories everywhere we go.
